Our Story
Founded in 2004 by Master Chef Hiroshi Tanaka, Sakura Sushi was born from a singular vision: to bring the soulful artistry of Edo-style sushi to the heart of the city. Every cut, every roll, every carefully composed plate is an act of devotion.
We source our fish daily from the world's finest waters — bluefin from the Pacific, hamachi from Kyushu, salmon from Norwegian fjords. Our rice is seasoned with 20-year-aged red rice vinegar, our wasabi hand-grated from Japanese-grown rhizomes.
The result is not merely a meal — it is an experience that honors the Japanese ideal of shokunin: the relentless pursuit of mastery through craft.
